Our organization works to promote an equitable and sustainable quality of life so that every person can achieve their greatest potential.
United Way of the Columbia-Willamette accepts cy pres awards and, due to those gifts, we can provide critically needed support in local communities across Multnomah, Clackamas, Clark and Washington counties. We focus on improving the health, education and economic mobility of these communities through community-centric, equity-focused initiatives.
United Ways work with local nonprofits, corporations, government agencies and individuals to make meaningful change within communities. We are supporting initiatives that provide legal defense to those facing eviction, engage with families to ensure their children have access to affordable, quality preschool, connect organizations to ensure all Oregonians are more disaster resilient, and advocate for policies that help Oregonians thrive. With over 100 years of impact in the Portland and Southwest Washington area, our organization knows what it takes to make change. Your award can help us build bridges, create thriving communities and create meaningful, equitable impact.
